Gary Lane is a busy man. This residential custom home builder and land developer is married with 6 children ranging from 2 college graduates to a third grader. He received his GB-98 General contractors License in 1986, and from that time to 2002 he lived and worked in Alamogordo, NM.



As Gary L. Lane, Inc., he completed 125 New Homes in Alamogordo. Then he began Designing and building around Alamogordo's Desert Lakes Golf Course. Starting with the design and development of a 22-unit condominium project, as well as designing and building 29 zero-lot line patio homes on the Golf course. All the while developing and building on 300 more lots around the golf course.

While doing all of this, he found the time to to be Vice President then President of the Building Contractors Association of Otero County from 1990 to 1995.

Even though Gary and his family now live and work in Las Cruces, he is still the Secretary/Treasurer of Sedona Development Inc. ' A 49-lot subdivision in Alamogordo. Phase 1 is completely sold out. Phases 2 and 3 have completed the plating and engineering and have just started construction.

Gary's experience in Alamogordo attracted the attention of the Developer's of the Boulder's Subdivision, and they attracted Gary and his family to move to Las Cruces. As the Superintendent of the The Boulders at Sonoma Ranch, Gary started and completed 31 custom homes in 20 months with 14 more still under construction.

After working so diligently on someone else's product, the itch to develop and build on his own has struck. Gary L. Lane, Inc. has now completed his first custom home in Las Cruces at 1160 Tuscany Drive in Picacho Hills.
